No. of surfactant molecule $6 \times 1 0^{23} \times \frac{10}{1000} \times 1 0^{- 3}$

$\Rightarrow 6 \times 1 0^{18}$ molecule

Let edge length = a cm

Total surface area of surfactant = $\Rightarrow 6 \times 1 0^{18} a^{2}$

$\Rightarrow 0.24$

a = 2 × 10^–10 cm = 2 pm
