Solution

For a diatomic gas, $C_{P} = \frac{7}{2} R$ and $C_{V} = \frac{5}{2} R$ .

At constant pressure with $n$ moles and temperature change $Δ T$ :

$Δ Q = n C_{P} Δ T = \frac{7}{2} n R Δ T$

$Δ U = n C_{V} Δ T = \frac{5}{2} n R Δ T$

$Δ W = n R Δ T$

$∴ Δ Q : Δ U : Δ W = 7 : 5 : 2$
