Solution

In projectile motion (no air resistance) the horizontal velocity is conserved. So $u cos 60 d e g; = (20) cos 45 d e g;$ .

$\frac{u}{2} = \frac{20}{2} \Rightarrow u = \frac{40}{2} = 202$ m/s.
