Solution

$R_{e q} = \frac{2 R \cdot ( 4 R /3 )}{2 R + 4 R /3} = \frac{8 R ^{2} /3}{10 R /3} = \frac{4 R}{5}$ .

$∴ R_{e q} = \frac{4 R}{5}$ .
