At steady state no current flows through the capacitor branch, so the entire current goes through the series chain of the two resistors.

Current: $i = \frac{V}{R _{t o t a l}} = \frac{5}{10 + 15} = \frac{5}{25} = 0.2 A .$

The capacitor sits across the $10 Ω$ resistor and therefore stores the same voltage:

$V_{C} = i R = 0.2 \times 10 = 2 V .$

$Q = C V_{C} = (8 μ F) (2 V) = 16 μ C .$
