Solution

A soap bubble has two surfaces (inner and outer), so the energy required is $E = T \times 2 \times 4 π R^{2} = 8 π T R^{2}$ .

$E = 8 π \times 0.03 \times (2 \times 1 0^{- 2})^{2} = 8 π \times 0.03 \times 4 \times 1 0^{- 4}$

$\approx 3.01 \times 1 0^{- 4}$ J.
