Two hollow conducting spheres of radii $R_{1}$ and $R_{2}$ $(R_{1} >> R_{2})$ have equal charges. The potential would be :

For an isolated conducting sphere carrying charge $Q$ , the surface potential is $V = \frac{1}{4 π ε _{0}} \cdot \frac{Q}{R}$ .

Both spheres carry the same charge, so $V \propto \frac{1}{R}$ .

$∴$ The sphere with the smaller radius has the larger potential.
