Ethylenediamine (en) is a bidentate ligand. Complexes containing chelating bidentate ligands enjoy the chelate effect: ring formation gives a large entropic boost that markedly increases stability over similar complexes with monodentate ligands alone.

$[CoCl_{2} (en)_{2}] NO_{3}$ has two en chelate rings around Co, making it the most stable of the four options.
