Solution

Take downward as positive and let $H$ be the bridge height. Initial velocity is $- 4$ m/s (upward) and acceleration is $+ 10$ m/s $^{2}$ .

$H = - u t + \frac{1}{2} g t^{2} = - 4 \times 4 + \frac{1}{2} \times 10 \times 16 = - 16 + 80 = 64$ m.
